1. Home Café by Mr. Beans
Although an oldie, this café has truly matured like fine wine. Boasting with floral furniture and white walls, it seems like a café right out of the streets of Shahpur Jat. Also, we recommend their tea parlor, pizzas, potato wedges, and waffles that are ideal for that date over books with bae.

One of the first cafes to introduce the concept of farm to table meals, Café White Sage is a truly unmissable experience, especially for vegetarians. Sourced from nearby farms, the menu at this café comprises of avocado toasts, savory lentil waffles, red rice sushi, Vietnamese mushroom rolls, and more. Add to that, the café also serves ‘zero-proof mocktails’ that are fresh syrups that are made daily to conjure up some genuinely new flavors.

3. Bar Palladio
A truly chic and sophisticated bar in Jaipur, this one is housed in a royal palace. The interiors are done in stunning colors of electric blue and white. The bar opens to an outdoor space with tented canopies where wandering peacocks have occasionally been spotted.
Their extensive list of cocktails includes some exciting specials, which include Vodka Fly {red bull, currant flavored vodka} and Between the Sheets {white rum, cognac, triple sec, and lemo}. The food is Italian all the way, so take your pick from starters like Norwegian Smoked Salmon Pate and meatballs, and move on to pasta. Wrap up your meal with a classic tiramisu. Highly recommended.

4. Anokhi Café
What could be better than shopping at Anokhi and then heading over to their idyllic cafe for a quick snack? A perfectly comforting place to reboot if you’ve been OD-ing on pyaz kachoris and thick as hell lassis for it gives you a chance to eat healthy without feeling guilty. They also serve some fantastic bagels, cheesecakes, and pizzettas as well. Go get them.

5. Tapri Central
A time-tested favorite with JLF regulars, Tapri’s has always been a crowd puller. Their furniture reminds us of our grandparents’ home, and their chai in the small, government-office glasses are endearing details that add to the overall experience. Bare brick walls juxtaposed against concrete floors, elegant wooden interiors with sunlight streaming in make this café an ideal spot for a delectable meal and laid-back conversation with your bookworm friends. It’s low-lounge seating in the loft, a section for books and board games, and even its verdant outdoors provide the ideal break from the chaotic JLF when you need it.
Don’t forget to try their Hong Kong Waffles with lavender and white chocolate mousse, Rose Oatmeal, and Zucchini Noodles salad with balsamic caviar in all their intensity.
