A 19thcentury architectural marvel located in the culturally-rich Patiala, this palace was a royal abode of the Maharajas who were famous for their diamonds. Restored by the Neemrana Group, the Baradari palace is a historical treasure that you could explore over a pleasant weekend.

How Do I Get Here?

Located approx. 260kms from Delhi, you can reach here by road which will make for a fun long drive {if you don’t have a car, fret not because you can book one online. Don’t forget to use your Debit card for easy transactions}. That being said,  the nearest airport is Chandigarh Airport which is just 65kms away from the palace while the Patiala Railway station is just 5kms away.

The palace boasts of sprawling 75-acre lush gardens and has a beautiful blend of Hindustani, Mughal and Colonial style in its architecture. The rooms are named after the Maharajas and have tasteful interiors and high ceilings that will take you back to the royal lives they enjoyed.

Once you are done exploring the rich history of this palatial property, you can take a curated tour of nearby attractions like a walking tour of the Qila Mubarak, Moti Bagh Palace, and Sheesh Mahal. You can also enjoy shopping for handicraft goods and fabrics at the local market.

The foodie in will you totally relish the mouth-watering North-Indian delicacies like chicken curry, aloo gobhi Paranthas with white butter, at their beautiful dining hall and a breakfast hall that offers views of the lush gardens.
