Plan A Weekend Away At Lansdowne Hill Station
1. The Lowdown
Sprawling valleys and majestic mountains await as you enter the pristine hill town of Lansdowne. This beautiful hill station is part of the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Named after Viceroy Lord Lansdowne, it was a favorite hill station during the erstwhile British Raj days.
2. Best Time To Visit
Summer months, from April to June, are ideal for a trip here. If on the other hand, you want to enjoy some snowfall, make your way here during the winter months of December and January. However, if you are planning to go during February and October, be warned as the area becomes extremely chaotic due to celebrations of Mahashivratri and Shardotsav.
